Dancing on outdoor basketball courts during lockdowns, emotions ran high due to isolation, so Lee Lee danced with multiples of herself. Just kidding, the multiples were added in post-production as were the friendly cacti animations and wild video effects.

The crying was just part of the initial dance and cryin’ was what we did, anywhere, culturally speaking and probably world wide at that time.

Leralee received a grant to stage a performance on basketball courts. The practice continued well beyond funding, composing in sports facilities when touring or living in rural areas when no dance studio was available.
